To begin with, I’d like to\u00a0clear something up:\u00a0\u00a0Yes, I am indeed\u00a0fully aware of the unfortunate acronym of my chosen handle\/web address.\u00a0 And seeing as how fatherhood is so far removed from my realm of possibility as to be absurd,\u00a0and\u00a0quite\u00a0honestly brings on a\u00a0hearty case of the cold sweats at the mere thought of the condition, I would take it as a personal kindness if, when referring\u00a0to this scintillating\u00a0collection of perfect prose, you could choose something a little less karmically\u00a0baiting.\u00a0 Something like “DA Dude” or “DAveD”, frankly anything besides that scary three-letter\u00a0word\u00a0for “pater familius”.\u00a0 I thank you, my karma thanks you and those sweet little potential glints in my eye thank you.\u00a0 Believe me, they’re better off remaining glints.\u00a0 I haven’t figured out how to take care of myself yet, for Pete’s sake.\u00a0\u00a0Sweet little animals in store front windows\u00a0cower in fear as\u00a0I pass by.\u00a0 Trust the animals; they know things.<\/p>\n
